1. Prices: Price calculations are made based on the quote which is valid when the job is accepted (price list or negotiated price). Stated prices do not include VAT.
2. Lines : The number of lines will be determined in the translation's target language. Translation fees are calculated by lines (a normal line is made up of about 50 - 55 characters with spaces included).
3. Delivery: The translation will be sent to the client after it is finished by means of data transfer (MODEM, e-mail, RSDI), as long as it does not require legalization. Upon request, the translation may be sent by standard mail, and in certain cases, even on diskette and/or by Fax. In all cases, the client is responsible for delivery risks.
4. Deadlines: Delivery deadlines are binding after they have been confirmed by us in writing. The translation order must be made in writing. Upon request, we can confirm the order with the price that is agreed upon. If the failure to maintain the delivery deadline is due to a cause of force majure, we reserve the right to desist from the contract or request a new deadline based on the circumstances. If we cannot comply with the new deadline, the client has the right to desist from the contract. All other rights, especially the right to indemnification, are completely void in these cases. The completion of a translation that is ready to be sent, and sending of the same by the means previously agreed upon implies fulfillment of our part of the order.
5. Special Services: Editing of translations made by third parties (proofreading) is calculated based on the time required to complete the job.
6. Quality complaints: All translations are made professionally and in good faith. When no special instructions or documents are given, technical terms are translated with the most common meaning. For translations to be used in printed formats, the guarantee depends on final proofreading; that is to say, for texts that are to be printed, you should give us a draft to be proofread prior to printing. If we do not receive this draft, we will not be responsible for possible errors.
7. Guarantee: We are obliged to pay indemnification exclusively to mediate fraud or serious negligence.
In these instances, our responsibility is limited to the value of the order at issue.
